Cognition is the world. You stand in front of the stove, and the fish is an ingredient; you stand in front of the Buddhist hall, and the fish is life; you stand in front of the stall, and the fish is a commodity; you stand on the riverbank, and that fish is scenery. The world you see has never been the world itself, but rather your own cognition and standpoint. With different angles in the heart, the world takes on different forms.
